The Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science and Cornell University invite all scientists engaged in research, teaching and public service on the diamondback moth (DBM), Plutella xylostella (L.) and other crucifer pests, to attend the 5th International Workshop on Management of the Diamondback Moth and Other Crucifer Insect Pests to be held October 24-27,2006, Beijing, China.
Emphasis will be placed on innovation in pest management techniques and progress made in Brassica Integrated Pest Management in the past two decades since the first workshop and will aim to identify the major impediments to its further progress.
